dc.description.abstractThis report presents data on the performance of all schools that wrote the 2023 NSC Examination, including public schools, special schools and independent schools. It also provides data on the overall performance of all these schools over a three-year period so that a school is able to measure and track its performance over the last three years. 2023 marks the tenth year of a CAPS-aligned NSC Examination, which means that schools can compare their historic performance in a stabilising curriculum and assessment policy framework. This will help them to establish if they too have reached stability in terms of effective implementation of the intended curriculum. This report details the number of candidates that wrote the examination, the number of candidates that achieved the NSC and the pass percentage in every school, over the last three years. It also provides a list of schools that obtained 100% and those that obtained below 40% over a period of five years respectively.
